Bone Frog Open – Irish Edition 2026 was two days filled with meaningful stories, old and new friendships, remembrance, generosity, and a shared commitment to supporting military members, veterans, first responders, and their families.
Here’s a look back at some of the moments that made the weekend so memorable.
☘️ From start to finish, the Bone Frog Open – Irish Edition 2026 brought together an incredible community at Notre Dame for a weekend centered on connection, remembrance, and impact.
🇺🇸 Sunday’s party and auction at Foley’s was hosted by WNDU’s Joshua Short and featured an unforgettable group of speakers, including Tony Bell, Ranger Rick, Karl Gustavson, Dale Sizemore, and Stephen DeLellis. Each brought a different perspective on service, resilience, teamwork, and the importance of continuing to show up for one another.
Guests also heard more about the evolving mission of Uncommon Grit SEAL Foundation and how we are working to remove barriers to healing, stability, and connection for military, veterans, first responders, and their families.
🎵 Operation Song was part of the evening, sharing the power of storytelling and music through the lived experiences of those who have served.
🎤 The night also included meaningful moments, generous live auction donations, plenty of laughter, and the kind of conversations that remind us why this community continues to grow year after year.
⛳️ On Monday, we gathered at Warren Golf Course for another beautiful day of golf at Notre Dame. Before play began, we continued one of the traditions that has been part of the Bone Frog Open since the beginning: honoring fallen Navy SEALs and saying their names out loud so they are never forgotten.

💙 The impact continues. We are still finalizing the results from this year’s event and will share more soon. In the meantime, support from the Irish Edition helps UGSF remove barriers to care in very practical ways:
$200 can fund a baseline TBI scan
$300 can cover trauma resolution
$1,500 can provide six months of peer support

Since 2024, the Bone Frog Open - Irish Edition has made possible nearly $30,000 of local support in areas of mental health, suicide prevention, technology access, and veteran homelessness. This impact has supported trusted local and mission-aligned organizations working directly with veterans, first responders, and their families.
